Cute ditsy daisy nail art

For christmas I received the Wah nails book of downtown girls, and a absolutely love it! Inside you can find all these cute and cool  diy nail designs to choose from, but I chose to do cute little daisy nails as they're my favourite flower and they also fit in nicely with my blog. Credit to Wah nails for the instructions! Ps. If you love painting your nails and being creative you should deffinatley purchase this book for £11.99, can be found in topshop, urban outfitters or online.

You will need:
* optional
- a nail file*
- a buffer*
- hand lotion*
- a black polish
- an orange or yellow polish
- a white models own nail art pen ( if you don't have this use a white nail polish)
- nail tools eg a dotting tool ( again, if you don't own this, try an alternative and use the end of a booby pin)
- a scrap piece of paper to protect the work surface underneath

Step 1:
Make sure your hands and nails are clean before starting.

*Then take the nail file and file the nails to the desired shape, then buff the nails to give them a nicer finish. Use the hand cream to moisturise the nails and hands.

Step 2:
Now paint your nails with the black polish.

Step 3:
Take your white nail art pen or dotting tool and squeeze or dip until a blob of Polish has formed. Then create 5 small dots in a circle shape onto the nail. These are your daisy petals. Repeat all over each nail.

Step 4:
Using the orange make a small blob in the middle of the flower.
 Step 5:
With a thin brush flick a little bit of black polish on each individual petal like so.
Step 6:
Finish with top coat and your nails are good to go!

Shopaholic

So the so called 'most wonderful time of the year' has passed, but in my world it has only just begun!
Sales have started on the high street! And I have recently been loaded up with money from work and relatives for christmas so I couldn't wait to head out to the sales ready for new year!

In the past week I've been into Oxford which is my hometown, 3 times! And have put together a small collection of the things I brought.Altogether I have spent about £120 of my money and it is almost all gone! *cry*

Here's my collection of sale purchases although the jeans weren't from the sale, but I wish they were!

Be awear I didn't buy all this in one day!
I have been really lucky with the sales this year, finding a lovely pale mint green jumper from new look for only a tenner! This was reduced from £19.99. In river island I brought a beautiful kimono with little flowers and butterflies and deep purple tones, this cost £15 reduced from £30 deffinatley a good buy!I can't wait to wear this as the spring season nears. I also brought myself a brand new purse. I love river island bags and purses and at the moment there are many pastel colours in style which I adore! I picked up this gorgeous coral and lilac/sky blue purse for £17.
I then went into topshop finding a beautiful electric blue high neck top for only £12, but when I got to the till the women asked if I had a student card, in wich I showed her my sixth form I'd and managed to bag it for £10.80!  Just a week before I brought this in the coral colour for £24 so I was rather annoyed that it had gone into the sale for half the price, but then again I love the style of it and the blue colour matched my brand new puma suedes i got for xmas so I thought I'd May as we'll buy another. Also from topshop I brought some blue bleached Joni jeans from topshop. I have been dying for acid wash jeans for ages and I could finally afford a new pair of Joni's. Joni jeans are my favourite style topshop do as they are high waisted, shape well to your figure and keep that shape. The only downer about them was that they were still fully priced at £36, but they are so worth the money!

Bodyshop also had a great deal on  with BB cream and a concealer for only £15 which would have been worth £24! This stuff works wonders on my skin and keeps it looking fresh as a daisy! I also find the packaging rather pleasant too.

I popped into primark too, the sale wasn't great but they always have some good things lurking around in there. They also have all their little Christmassy stocking filler nicknacks left from christmas so I had a rummage through those. I picked up some cute pale blue frilly lace socks which are so cute! I wear these kinds of socks all of the time! These were £1.50

I also found some really cool nail art brushes which were a packet of 10 for only £3! I also got a small hairbrush and comb for a quid as I always find I need one! Lastly, I came across this cute little peach lip balm covered in daisies! I just had to buy it for the sake of the patterned tin! Although the peach flavour is amazing! This cost £1.50.

I also wanted to show you this amazing necklace I brought from river island a few weeks back! Also tying in with the spring colours!
